some would say that being a writer and someone that released two books already, i'd have an easy time writing my vows for you on a day as special as this, but truth be told, this is much harder and much more complicated then you think when your love just doesn't translate into words. i started writing these a couple of weeks after you asked me the question that lead us here, which is something i thought would be a good idea but i don't think that's true anymore because since then, we have evolved, grown together, gotten through more good and bad times, and we worked as a team. that's the thing with us, we work as a team, even when we're the ones in a disagreement. there's just something about you that works with me, and i'll never be able to pinpoint to what it is exactly, other than everything. i've learned that i'm the best version of myself when i'm with you. since i met you i've learned patience, love that's absolutely unconditional, appreciation, care, and everything else you could possibly think of under the sun. i promise to spend the rest of my life earning your love because you will be the only thing i'm ever going to need, and want. i have never understood what it was like to always want someone around. needing space was something i lived by, truthfully, but then you came along and that changed completely. going a day without you has become torturous but not because of anything other than i miss my best friend. i miss being near you, i hate not spending my days with you because i hate missing important moments that happen in your days. i wasn't expecting you, tom. i was never expecting what we have now to evolve from the friendship that started this, and even to this day i sit back and think about how unexpected you were, yet everything i wanted and needed. the single most extraordinary thing i ever did was falling in love with you. i've never been so complete, never loved so passionately, never loved so fiercely. my love for you goes beyond words and anything that exists in this universe, but i'm hoping that as lifetimes pass, and we find each other in each and every single one of them, i'll be able to express my love for you in more ways. ways that are simply just not existent just yet. i hope that you feel loved be my every single day that we're together. i hope you always hold my hand when things get rough, but also just because. i hope you find comfort in me anytime you need someone to just hold you. i hope you never forget how incredible you are, not just to me, but everyone here with us today. i will stand by you through the good and the bad times, i will love you on the good and the bad days and i'll always support you, help guide you and never doubt you. today, with this ring, i give you my heart and soul. i promise from this day forward you will not walk alone through this crazy thing we call life. may my heart be your shelter and my arms be your home, and may your happiness shine bright every single day. i hope that smile of yours never fades and i swear to always be the reason it's there. i love you, tom wilson, in this universe and every single one after.
