IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!!! and honestly, while i was sitting around and thinking about what to get you, i couldn't think of a single metrialistic thing you'd want/need. i just feel like sometimes the people we love most, the ones we're closest to, are the most difficult to shop for and i was truly at a loss on what to get you. we've been so busy with your schedule, traveling, my work finally picking up, that we didn't even have time to get my last name officially changed. so i did the damn thing. when you were at practice, and i told you i wanted to sleep in that morning, i took my happy ass up to the court house and i officially changed my name to nicolo luigi tortorella-wilson. it's one of my favorite things to say, truly. i love being married to you, so i got our marriage certificate framed and officially for us, the wilson's. i hope you love it sweet babe!! i sure freaking do.
it wouldn't be a birthday without a little gift and since you are an amazing cook, and you LOVE cooking for me, it was only right i got you an amazing new apron. the last time we talked about giving gifts and what not, we mentioned the metarialistic things not being as important as experiences so this is me stepping away from spoiling you with THINGS but instead, spoiling you with memories, especially ones we'll make when we're both in the kitchen because that is one of the places we both love spending the most time together (aside from the bedroom and living room, duh). so, i hope you love it, i hope you wear it and i cannot wait to see how great you'll look in it baby.
last but definitely not least, since we're quarentined at home and the plans i had initially made fell through, i needed to make the best of what we had at home, and that's our rooftop. (i'm not telling you what else i had planned because we will do that some other time hehe). so i ordered a bubble dome, like the one pictured above and we're going to have a candlelit dinner in there for your special night, along with sleeping under the stars because that thing is actually heated. i do hope you're into helping me set it all up because although the stuff is rented, no one is actually able to come help set it up for us but the directions are pretty easy and who doesn't love a little diy project for their birthday?
